Measures

  • Transmission by visitors/parents/children on arrival
  1. Doorstep drop off
  2. Outdoor hand wash / hand sanitising 
  3. Safe distance (adults and older siblings) depending on Covid 19 prevalence.
  4. Face masks if close hand over depending on Covid 19 prevalence. (E.g. babies)
  • Transmission on items from home
  1. Nappies in packs
  2. No cups from home etc.. 
  3. Duplicate comforters to be left here
  4. Spare clothes to be left here
  5. Aim: as few items as possible going between home and setting
  • Transmission by child to child or child to childminder contact
  • Childminder to child ( A symptomatic) 
  1. Strict adherence to government guidelines 
  2. Do not admit child if they have a continuous cough or high temperature or if they test positive.
  3. Do not admit if close family member has symptoms or tests positive.
  4. Wash/disinfect all surfaces appropriately throughout the day.
  5. Full clean every day when children have left
  6. Use outdoor space as much as possible
